Johl Anderson
Johl Anderson is the primary ISA Certified Arborist at Beautiful Trees, and also Green Bird Horticultural with over 37 years in the industry delivering tree care and consulting excellence to clients. Johl has always promoted education and mentorship in the industry and supported good arboriculture practices. He has been involved in many boards / committees to advance the industry and develop good practices ensuring healthy urban forests for now and into the future.
Chris Ward
Chris Ward is a Consulting Arborist, ISA Certified Arborist, Mentoring Arborist and Client Advisor for Beautiful Trees Inc. In 1990, Chris began his career in woodlot management and logging and started his own tree service in 1996 while studying arboriculture at Humber College. Chris worked for the City of Toronto’s Parks and Forestry Department for 10 years before making his tree service his full time passion. In 2022 Chris sold the tree service to Johl Anderson and now works closely with Johl and the Beautiful Trees team to expand the company and help support it with his incredible knowledge and skillset.

Jon fry (RSE)
Jon Fry RSE, Operations Manager, is an ISA Certified Arborist and Landscape Horticulturalist. Jon graduated at the top of his class from Humber College. He has managed crews in both the private and public sectors to ensure high standards of arboriculture and horticulture since 2015. Jon seeks out every opportunity to stay up to date on the most recent advances in tree care and safety. He is committed to providing service excellence while improving our greenspace environment.
Jen Llewellyn (M.Sc)
Jen Llewellyn-Anderson M.Sc is an ISA Certified Arborist and Horticulturalist at Beautiful Trees and Green Bird Horticultural, with over 23 years in the industry as the Provincial Nursery & Landscape Specialist, delivering consulting, diagnostics and education in Plant Health Care, Nutrition, Soils, Water Quality and much more. Jen is also a featured Speaker and Writer at industry conferences and magazines.
Mikhaela Pope (B. SC)
Mikhaela Pope B. SC (Bachelor of Science) is the Arborist Assistant at Beautiful Trees Inc. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Biology from the University of Guelph. With many years of customer service excellence under her belt, Mikhaela is passionate about trees and client education. She is a key member of the Beautiful Trees team.
